The ol' Chicken in the Window

Today we were working on our barn. I was painting posts outside of the chicken coop. Whenever i would come near the chicken coop one or two chickens would climb up and sit in the window clucking at me :) I would tease them in the window. I still dont have the outside pasture made, but i am hoping we will make it soon. I'll post some pictures soon!

Chicken Attack

The chickens are doing fine, I have a few friends over and the chickens attacked my friends lol :) The chickens are growing big Im so proud of them :) to tired to post cya!

Their new home>>

The chickens made it into their new home. They love it! Me, Jake, and Cindy ran around the coop trying to catch all of them and put them on the roosts. I have running water and a nice door on the coop, 1/2 of it is going to be a goat pen, then we are putting up a wall between the 2 rooms. Yawwwn! I'm tired! I'll post again soon!

The weekend

This weekend we went camping, so sorry I can't blog with only sticks and rocks. We went sailing with some of my friends. The chickens figured out how to get out of their pen and fly. I walked outside this morning and all the chicks were on top of the walls of their pen. Jake is starting the pen tonight, the chickens soon will have a home :) their getting really big :)))

So the other one is a killer....

I got home from baseball and had to clean the chicken coop because I was too lazy to do it before. My Jack Russell jumps in the chicken pen and gets bored and jumps out. My little white puffy shih-tzu maltese mix jumps in there and starts chewing on one of my chickens!!! I started screaming really loud and she let go of it, I'm really mad at her right now and she knows it...It's actually hilarious! She keeps walking past me really slowly with her tail between her legs :) I love and hate my dog :)

Too Lazy

Hello!
My chickens are doing great. Their pen smells like crap, i'm too lazy right now to clean it. Don't worry i'll clean it sometime tonight....just not right now. :) We are working on the barn right now Matt and Jake are working on the Lean-to where my chickens and Goats are going soon. I feel tired....Is anyone reading this?? Well anyways I'll write later and tell you all about cleaning the chicken pen tonight.

She used to be a killer....

Today me and my family went sailing. we slept the night on the boat yesterday so the chickens were home alone. We came by in the morning to check on them and everything was ok. We spent the day and went to Power Island, which is a small island in West Bay, anyways it was about a 3 hour ride there. When we got home Cindy was in the garage cleaning and yelled to me to come there.....Bella my Jack Russel "terrier" was with the chickens eating their poop! It was hillarious!! Is there anyone reading this blog?? Email, comment, anything!!! But ya the chickens are doing well another one tried to escape today :)
